Flappie uses artificial intelligence to detect different objects, such as birds or mice, that cats bring as prey. Thanks to this object detection system, Flappie can determine whether the cat comes into the house with or without prey. If the cat has prey with it, the flap stays closed and prevents the cat from bringing the prey into the house.

Download the app to your smartphone. During the onboarding process in the app, all steps for connecting the cat flap will be explained intuitively.

Yes, you can control multiple Flappies with one app. Each flap can be individually configured and managed.

Yes, the Flappie app sends you notifications as soon as your cat tries to come into the house with prey. This way you are immediately informed and can react.

The security of your data is our highest priority. All data is encrypted and stored locally on the Flappie cat flap without being transferred to external servers. You have full control over your data and we ensure that it remains confidential and protected. Your videos and photos will only be shared on FlappieTV or in the community with your consent.

Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to integrate the Flappie app with smart home systems. However, we are working on offering this feature in the future.

Yes, you can use the Flappie app on multiple devices at the same time. Your settings and data are synchronized so you can access it anytime and from any device.

If you already have a cat flap, installing Flappie is easy. Compare the dimensions of Flappie with the dimensions of your doorway to make sure Flappie will fit. In general, we have adapted our dimensions to those of common cat flaps.
