Give the helper's outer part outside.

Connect the power cable to the indoor unit.

Feed the cable through the cable duct.

Choose left or right cable outlet.

Route the flat cable of the outdoor unit through the opening.

Plug into the designated connector.

Stow excess cable in the outdoor unit.

Select appropriate screw length.

Align and insert the screws. Extra holes if needed – never in glass.

Tighten screws evenly, do not overtighten.

Insert screw caps.

Plug in the power cable. Done! 🎉

Briefly measure your opening. If it fits, you can mount Flappie directly, often in just a few minutes. For round glass openings over 215 up to 260 mm, the adapter fills the gap. New glass openings require a glazier. The 30-second check will tell you what applies to your situation.
No problem. In a wooden or plastic door, the opening is cut to size; you can do this yourself or a Flappie partner can take care of it. For glass, a glazier will make a new pane with a pre-cut opening. For a thick door or a wall, a tunnel extension ensures the correct depth.

No suitable opening yet? The work involved depends on the door, glass or wall. For glass, you need a glazier. Our installation check helps you find the right solution.
No. For installation in a door or wall, you first get a brief OK from the landlord or administration. When you move out, the spot will be professionally restored. For a glass door, we install Flappie into a new, custom-made pane; your original pane remains and is simply reinstalled when you move out. In a condominium, you briefly clarify it with the homeowners' association.
