MAINTENANCE
To maintain optimal camera performance, it is important to regularly clean Flappie’s lens with a soft cloth. Use clean water or a mild soap solution to gently remove any dirt or smudges. Avoid oils, lubricants or solvents. This helps ensure clear vision and accurate detection by the camera.
Periodic checks of mounting screws and cleanliness are highly recommended.
The operating temperature of Flappie ranges from -20°C to 80°C. For extremely cold days, Flappie even features an integrated heating system to keep the camera ice-free.
Flappie is launching for the first time.
The product is designed to deter unwanted prey (e.g., mice, birds), and its AI-powered prey detection functionality is provided “as is” without any performance guarantee.
Please note that the prey detection feature will begin operating approximately two weeks after installation to allow for system calibration. After it becomes active, we recommend that you monitor its performance for about one week to familiarize yourself with its operation and verify that it meets your needs.
