Flappie, your favorite AI-powered cat door system, has won third prize at the prestigious Le Prix du Jeune Entrepreneur (PJE) - Young Entrepreneur Award 2023! 🏆 This award places Flappie among the most innovative projects from Swiss universities, and we are absolutely overwhelmed by this honor.
🚀 A tough competition
The PJE event, which took place on May 11, 2023 at the French Residence in Bern, was a firework of innovation and passion 🎆. It brought together the brightest minds from the country's most prestigious universities.
Eight hand-picked projects presented their vision and dynamics to a jury of experts and to the French Ambassador Journes Frederic. The competition was fierce and it is an honour to have shared a stage with such incredible projects.

We warmly congratulate the winners, irmos technologies and Alter Ego Technologies AG 👏. irmos received first prize for their innovative solution for monitoring the structural health of bridges and buildings, while Alter Ego received second prize for a solution that revolutionizes the shopping experience with a virtual try-on feature. It is a privilege to stand alongside such groundbreaking projects that are setting new standards in their respective industries.
🤝 A bridge between nations
As an international organization with over 4,000 members, PJE acts as a significant bridge between companies from different countries and their respective embassies. The Conseiller du commerce extérieur de la France (CCEF) in Switzerland has played a crucial role in supporting companies seeking to establish themselves in Switzerland as well as Swiss companies seeking to establish themselves in France.
